Diy florals for your bestseller salon

A few years ago, I was looking for a way to make my beauty salon more interesting and colorful. I wanted something different from what most salons have in terms of decor. My husband suggested I try making some DIY floral arrangements. It sounded like a great idea since it would allow me to create a unique look for my clients while also adding color and life to my salon. The only problem was that I didn’t know how to do this! So, I started researching on Pinterest and YouTube. I found many tutorials online but none were really helpful because they were either too complicated or just plain wrong. After much trial and error, I finally figured out how to do DIY floral arrangements. Here’s what I learned:

  1. How to choose the right colors

The first thing I did when choosing colors was to think about the mood I want to achieve. If I wanted to create a relaxing environment where people could come to unwind and relax, then I chose soft pastels such as pinks, purples, blues, greens and yellows. On the other hand, if I wanted to create a fun, vibrant space where people could get ready for parties or events, I chose bright, bold colors such as reds, oranges, yellows, greens and blues.

  1. What materials to use

I used a variety of materials to create DIY floral arrangements. Some included Floral wallpapers, Scissors, tape measure and marking pencil. You can use whatever material you prefer. Just remember that you should use materials that won’t damage your furniture or walls.

  1. How to cut the peel and stick wallpaper

When cutting Peel and stick solid color wallpaper, I recommend using scissors instead of a knife so that you don’t risk damaging the paper. Also, make sure you’re wearing gloves because the glue is very sticky. Once you’ve cut the pieces, place them onto a clean surface and let dry.

  1. How to adhere the wallpaper

Once the wallpaper has dried, you can start adhering it to the wall. First, you will need to apply a layer of adhesive to the back of the wallpaper. Then, position the wallpaper over the area you want to cover. Next, press firmly until the wallpaper sticks to the wall. Repeat these steps until all areas are covered.

Applying the Wallpaper to the walls

The process of applying floral wallpapers to the wall shouldn’t be very complicated if you know how to go about it. Follow the instructions below:

Prepare the walls by cleaning them with a damp cloth. Make sure that there’s no residue in the walls that can halt the process.

Apply from one corner-to-corner. Start at the top left corner and work your way down. This ensures that the wallpaper will fit perfectly.

Make sure that the wallpaper is pressed against the wall evenly. Don’t worry if the edges aren’t straight; you can easily fix this later.

Use a level to ensure that the wallpaper is even.

After completing step 4, wait for the wallpaper to completely dry before you start using the room. This can take few hours.

Conclusion

DIY floral arrangements turned out to be an easy project to complete. They not only add color and life to our beauty salon, but they also help us create a relaxing atmosphere for our clients. We hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
